THE BRIEF

A story of generations, a story of passion and excellence. For over 70 years the name of Karnig has been renown in it’s dedication with timepieces. Karnig has risen to the top of the hierarchy and established a powerful name for itself due to its many years of perseverance in delivering watches to prestigious owners.

THE CHALLENGE

Karnig asked us: how can we implement the Karnig name into people’s perceptions while creating a new Logo that aligns with today’s changing times. Over the years the name of Karnig has been lost in the wind, by being soul known as Rolex’s retailer, building this image back up is the main challenge for their re-branding. Rotating around the main challenge allowed for another area to be disclosed, the positioning of Karnig’s identity into the rise of this era’s development. The Owner’s desire for the re Branding was to have a similar interpretation of their current brand but modified in order to be parallel with this modernized era.

MIND MAPPING

Logo design mind mapping is a brainstorming technique that involves creating a visual diagram or "mind map" to organize and explore different ideas, concepts, and elements related to the design of a logo. It helps designers to generate and organize their thoughts, identify patterns, and make connections between different elements, which can ultimately inform the development of a successful logo design. Mind mapping for logo design may include elements such as color, typography, iconography, brand values, and target audience.

SKETCHING THE LOGO!
A symbol for innovation, enthusiasm, high hopes, passion and inflated limits are all used in order to symbolize the incorporated kite element in the new logo. Karnig’s main aim in showcasing the new element of a Kite is to present the idea of the greater lengths they have achieved, in addition to their strong will of perseverance. The two stable elements of trivial modification are the K stemming from the main title and the Roman numbers signifying the specialized trade of timepieces.
COLORS

The selected colors for Karnig are both Black and Gold. These colors together form the peak of luxury and elegance, perfectly matching the image of Karnig. The profound black color in the branding elements symbolizes wisdom and longevity that Karnig has earned over the years, paired with gold it is a pinnacle of wealth and

BRAND IDENTITY

In designing a brand identity for Karnig, the iconic luxury watch and Official Rolex Retailer, we aimed to create a visual language that perfectly captured the brand's essence of sophistication and exclusivity. After careful consideration, we decided on the classic color combination of black and tan gold, which exudes a timeless elegance and refinement. The sleek black background conveys a sense of luxury and professionalism, while the warm tan gold accents add a touch of richness and sophistication. The result is a brand identity that is as distinct and unforgettable as the watches themselves.

Through Social Media did we to progressively portray the image and name of Karnig. We wanted to strengthen the Karnig name through campaigns that speaks about the tradition of Karnig and how he rose to their current status.

WATCH AWARENESS
We’ve implemented a new style for the presentation of watches from Rolex, Longines and Tudor. A Grid theme of linked ideas revolving the watch has been implemented; an artistic link has been done by having each grid post fit together in a unified design and content.
OCCASIONS
Numerous occasions have been done with the implementation of Karnig’s brand while linking them to the idea of watches and time. Such occasions include Mother’s day, Christmas, Ramadan, eid and many more.
STORIES

Karnig’s stories has seen an improvement from organic engagement from the tools used on Instagram Stories. The stories created have been studied in order to pull a reaction from story viewers.

We’ve used our website builder to fully develop a new and improved Karnig website. It has been organized efficiently, explaining Karnig clearly while places each brand into a section that fully describes it. its user experience is superb with high loading speed for a premium experience.
