THE BRIEF

Yousef Bashiti & Sons, now known as Bashiti Stores, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1980 as Bashiti Hardware. YBS takes pride in being a specialized retailer, offering hand tools, electrical supplies, general hardware, and a wide array of household items, safety supplies, gardening tools, and furniture for both home and industrial use.

THE CHALLENGE

Over the years, the Yousef Bashiti brand name underwent changes, and other stores bearing the same family name emerged, causing confusion among customers who struggled to distinguish the original store. Furthermore, the store's location was altered, necessitating a new brand identity.

THIS LOGO IS INSPIRED FROM THE NAME OF THE OWNER "YOUSEF BASHITI".

Our journey began with creating a fresh brand identity that emphasizes not only the family name but also the owner's name, "Yousef Bashiti & Sons." To set this brand apart from others and foster immediate recognition, we chose the color yellow. In addition, we crafted an icon that cleverly merges the initials of the name, incorporating "Y" from Yousef and "B" from Bashiti.
INTRODUCING THE NEW IDENTITY FOR YOUSEF BASHITI
SOCIAL MEDIA
Our social media campaign objectives revolved around showcasing the new color, style, and theme following the rebranding of Yousef Bashiti Stores. For our messaging, we aimed to inform people that, after 35 years, we've relocated to a new address and have selected specific items from our hardware/tools inventory to be available at the new branch. This color and messaging theme was consistently applied across most of our social media posts.

INCREASE STORE VISITORS - CONTENT MARKETING
Recognizing that some customers were still frequenting stores with similar names and unaware of our new location, we devised a strategy to make the most of word-of-mouth and organic reach, given our limited advertising budget. Our innovative approach involved offering a significant discount on a unique item every Tuesday, with the added stipulation that these items were exclusive to our store and unavailable elsewhere. This growth hacking method not only increased our customer base but also created anticipation for the weekly discount.

To effectively convey our new color, identity, and the message of our changed location, we developed a creative billboard designs. The design aimed to entertain and captivate by referencing a popular TV scene.
